Appdata local programs Microsoft VS Code Insiders bin code-insiders.cmd' '%%testing^carrots.txt' VS Code opens a file called “%testing^^carrots.txt”. That’s not what was requested, as I gave it two ‘%’ and only 1 ‘^’. If the code.CMD file is altered, and the ‘CALL’ removed, everything is fine.
Batchfile '%dp0. Code - Insiders.exe' '%dp0.

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: not tried. The CMake Debug target has extensive C compiler warning reporting enabled except for some warnings we will not be able to get rid of such as attribute-ignore.
This is an ongoing issue/project, I welcome small and granular PRs that will fix the warnings in batches of a few source files at a time (and ofc result in the compiler issuing net-fewer warnings without changing the compilation flags). Right now the debug build of the library generates almost 4K warnings, if we could get them down to double digits it would be great!

On Linux you really can connect anything to anywhere with jackd.
There is very little overhead. Like running a main daw with external carla racks etc. This means cross core and small daws connecting via jackd. But on windows you have to be very very careful.
Using jackd to connect directly to the audio ports is ok. But the instant you connect 3-4 daws together, sending a signal from one daw to another, the dsp meter goes up quickly.
So quickly, that flexible routing is not doable, at all. It just eats cpu like crazy. Thanks again Christian W. Issue Type: Bug unins000.dat is becoming bigger and bigger everytime after VSC updates. If using preview version of VSC, it will eventually larger than 100MB after many times of updating.
Today, we have our ‘esy-bash’ layer baked in to esy - this necessitates an expensive NPM package download and a thick layer of dependencies on Windows, for all projects. However, there is a growing subset of OCaml projects that don’t need this layer - projects that use dune, for example, are for the most part compatible ‘out-of-the-box’ with Windows. One idea we discussed in Discord was, instead of bundling esy-bash, we could make it a dependency (and perhaps rename it esy-essentials or esy-native-toolchain). For now, the OCaml compiler would need this as an explicit dependency, so we’d still always need to download it - but perhaps that wouldn’t always be the case? It could be, later, that a dune-built OCaml compiler wouldn’t need the esy-essentials ( esy-bash) package - and then dune-built projects would also not require this. It’d only be when you have a non-dune project in your sandbox that we’d add esy-essentials as an implicit dependency (ie, when importing a non-dune project from OPAM). There’s still a lot to think about: - Even projects that don’t require bash binaries might expect a bash-like syntax in their build steps.
How do we determine if a project requires this implicit esy-essentials package? - To what extend would we need to normalize / special case this in esy? In addition, several of esy’s built-in utilities depend on the esy-bash layer currently - like Tarball.ml, Git.ml, Patch.ml, etc - we’d need to have a plan for migrating to another strategy. Expected behavior The contact QR code appears. User Story As a user, I want to be able to run Status on Windows 7 so that I can use my current OS. Description Type: Feature Summary: The Status app should support Windows 7. Expected behavior The app starts normally as in Windows 7. Actual behavior The Status app currently hangs when being started on Windows 7, it’s not obvious what it is doing and whether this is related to ubuntuserver.exe or Status.exe.
Reproduction. Open Status on Windows 7 Solution Summary:. Compile with CFLAGS=-DWIN32WINNT=0x0601 -DWINVER=0x0601 (did initial attempt adding to desktop/Toolchain-Ubuntu-mingw64.cmake but that didn’t fix things by itself). Additional Information. MSS version: 3.3.1 Description of the warning/error Grab screen from secondary desktop on monitor. Full message My problem is, that I do not have second monitor but second Desktop in Windows 10 (when you click on Task View icon, you can add New Desktop and place some programs there). So I want to grab and save screenshot from that desktop even when I am working in desktop1. Any idea how to do it there please? I am trying to make a hybrid console/gui app.
If no command line arguments are passed I would like to close the console when the gui starts. However, I cant get the window to close, it always stays open. I can close the console window manually without it killing my application now that I call FreeConsole, but it seems like something is still hanging around preventing that window from closing. What am I missing?
Below is a minimal example the demonstrates the issue. Python 3.7.0 (default, Aug 14 2018, 19:12:50) MSC v.1900 3.
